Systems Administrator | SECZ

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe is inviting applications from
suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the position of Systems
Administrator, Graded B5.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designing, installing, configuring and maintaining servers, storage, end-user devices,
network devices and firewalls.
• Administering Active Directory (AD) across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Deploying, managing, and optimizing Windows Server workloads in hybrid cloud
environments.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines, containers, storage systems,
and file services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Reporting on usage and uptime of all systems and services such as WAN links and the
Internet.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting end-user software like MS Office, email,
intranet, and payroll/accounting systems.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network
(WAN).
• Training and supporting users on the use of computer software and production
systems.
• Conducting regular backup of all systems and carry out restore verification tests in
line with best practice and set procedures.
• Carrying out any other duties as directed by Management.

Requisite qualifications & experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in ICT, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or
equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years in an ICT position preferably in the Financial Services Sector.
